Latimer’s brand refresh of ActionAid’s Bollocks To Poverty launched at Boxpark with Hype. Clothing

This month the HYPE. & Bollocks to Poverty Fashion Collection launched at Boxpark in Shoreditch. We danced. We drank. And we bought the limited edition range.

Back in March, global human rights movement ActionAid partnered up with Latimer to commission a brand refresh for their youth arm, Bollocks to Poverty — a creative movement standing up for the rights of young people in extreme poverty.

Our brand refresh was anchored around creating an identity that resonated with the vibrancy of the music and fashion partners with which Bollocks to Poverty were keen to engage, whilst also capturing the activism with which ActionAid have become synonymous. To this end we co-created with young taste-makers from the world of fashion and music to produce a brand with optimum market fit.

The end result? A new-look Bollocks to Poverty and an exclusive festival clothing collection with iconic British streetwear brand HYPE. to support Nepal following the recent earthquakes and a new look website.

The range of clothing consists of a unisex tee, a women’s crop top and a bandana and was in line with our design refresh of the logo, digital graphica and marcomms assets, colour pallet and copy;  all steered by Insight from youth fashion tastemakers from the Latimer network.

All profits from the collection will go towards ActionAid’s work on the ground in Nepal to provide immediate relief to those most in need, through food, medical kits and shelter and available to purchase at Hype’s Boxpark store and online at justhype.co.uk.
