Aim

To find help BBC Three efficiently communicate with, and receive content from, their target audience.

Strategy

Manage a community of 62 UK based young emerging creatives to upload insights & content to meet briefs set by BBC III marketing and commissioning teams. This gave BBC III access to a bank of high quality, topical content and programme ideas before anybody else.

297 content submissions over 8 weeks
92% of the community responded to every brief
11 Content collaborations between BBC and BBC Playground community
1 documentary idea now in development for broadcast with BBC III
BBC Three now has a highly engaged community of advocates, each of whom has a fast growing online audience.
