Quick answer? A LOT.
Here’s an update on what we’ve been up to so far, in 2018.
To kick off… Carly, our Partnerships Director, and Louise our Talent Manager were at the British Film Institute’s Future Film Festival to chat about how young people can be ‘creatively commercial’, by working with brands. We were joined on the panel by some of the #LatimerFam:
Joivan Wade & Percelle Ascot – Actors, Writers and Founders of The Wall of Comedy
Ntando Brown – Director/ Photographer and Founder of Out Since Tuesday
Rob Jones – Photographer & VOXI Co-Creator
We also joined forces with the European Sponsorship Association, who asked us to produce a white paper on best practices around co-creation. We’ll be sharing that soon!
New year new partnerships… Including BBC Three, who commissioned us to create Body Positivity content, aimed at 16-25 year old females. As with all campaigns at Latimer, the audience shape the content, and so the entire production was directed, shot and produced by an all female crew under 25. We’ve had a sneak peak at the content which looks incredible and will be launching online, on social and on BBC Three very soon!
We’re also working with the great people at the Family Planning Association to launch social led animations, targeted to 16-35s, to bust myths around sexual health.
Each animation has been created by a different young animator & all creative concepts have been tested with a wider sub-set of the target audience at key points in the process, ensuring the content lands and resonates with the audience.
We’ve been around… Including workshops in Paris, New York and Istanbul; all in a bid to unearth some insights on young people and their thoughts around positive well-being for Unilever; it’s thrown up some seriously interesting info for out Insight & Innovation team to get stuck in to.
Reconnecting with old friends… We’re continuing our work with The British Council to launch The English Channel more countries. We’ve already rolled out the campaign in Wider Europe. Check out our case study here to see the work we’ve done with them to date!
And coming soon… We’ve been working with the amazing team at Greenpeace, to increase awareness and participation in World Meat Free Day (June 11th, stick it in your diaries), so you’ll soon see what we’ve got planned for that!
There’s always loads going on at Latimer HQ.
